application

4-N-tert-butoxycarbonyl-4-N-methylaminopiperidine can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediates, mainly used in laboratory research and development process and chemical production process.

Preparation

Pd(OH)2(14.11mg,0.1mmol) is added to a solution of 1-(benzyloxycarbonyl)-4-(N-methyl-tert-butoxycarbonylamino) piperidine (0.35g,1mmol) in anhydrous MeOH(20mL), the resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours in an H2 atmosphere. After TLC shows that the starting material is consumed, the solvent is filtered through silica gel and the filtrate solvent is removed in vacuum to obtain crude 4-(N-methyl-tert-butoxycarbonylamino) piperidine (0.2g,60%).
